Thanks for including some classic old pro wrestling on your Blog, I enjoy seeing it. Steamboat always sold his suffering beautifully, playing the ragdoll and looking spectacular in the long white tights. Great physiques on both of these guys. I enjoyed the big Elbow Drop to Steamboat's chest.
I grew up in a small town, and there was only one video rental store. The store had only a few foreign pro-wrestling videos, and Wrestlemania II was one of them. Since Ricky Steamboat was childhood hero, I remember when I found the video included this match, I got really hard at the video store. This match was extremely hot to me, but I couldn't copy, so I rented the video many times and came to the match a hundred times, especially to the moment of the 4th, the 5th, and the 6th gif. I guess each one of you has the same kind of match.
oh, those gifs in particular are genuinely amazing :p Such a big and powerful face playing the dazed and dizzied ragdoll, what's not to love?
For me, I had found wrestling to be a turn on as a kid, but I stopped watching the big tv programs after a while cause it wasn't really "for me". It wasn't until high school that I started finding things online, some backyard federations and sites like NRW and BG East, And most importantly, the series of matches between my two favorite wrestlers Kota Ibushi and Prince Devitt/Finn balor, that I really got back into enjoying wrestling like I did.
